2nd Competition "Greece Innovates!" Award Ceremony

The 2nd Competition "Greece Innovates!", which was jointly organized by Eurobank and SEV (Hellenic Federation of Enterprises), completed within an uncluttered event on Tuesday, September 17.
During this event, and after the official greetings and important speeches by the internationally renowned invited scientists, Mr. J. Sifakis and Mr. S. Stergiopoulos, became the winners announcement of the contest and the prizes award.
The four winners, two on Applied Research category and two on Innovation category are:
Applied Research category winners
First Prize: Dr.
C. Ballas by The Foundation for Research and
Technology-Hellas (FORTH).
Second Prize: Dr. E. Gogolides by the National
Centre of Scientific Research "DEMOKRITOS"
Innovation category winners
First Prize: to
Mr. I. Fotiou by TOBEA Engineering Applications Ltd.
Second Prize: to Miss P. Dragani by APIVITA
From the first moment of the finalist's announcement, PCC HELLAS research team had the pleasure and honor to stand beside big corporations and research groups by major universities and national scientific research centers.
For us, it was a big challenge to enter the competition, and of course our final ranking in the top 10 finalists in Applied Research category, was a great prize for us!
One more time, we want to thank all the reviewers who chose us and they confirmed our perceptions about our innovative object, but also we want to congratulate the winners on their significant distinction.
